Title: Draft NTP Technical Report on theToxicology and Carcinogenesis Studies of 2-Hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone (CAS No. 131-57-7) Administered in Feed to Sprague Dawley (Hsd:Sprague Dawley SD) Rats and B6C3F1/N Mice
Subject: The National Toxicology Program (NTP) conducted long-term toxicology and carcinogenesis studies in rodents to determine whether exposure to 2-hydroxy-methoxybenzonphenone (HMB) beginning in utero in rats and post-weaning in mice through adulthood was carcinogenic.
Purpose (e.g., abstract): The meeting is to conduct external peer review of the draft NTP Technical Report (TR 597) at a public meeting with opportunity for public comment. Information for the meeting will be posted in mid-October. The meeting will be held remotely and available to the public via webcast.
