Title: Draft NTP Technical Report on the Toxicology and Carcinogenesis Studies of Perfluorooctanoic Acid (CAS No. 335-67-1) Administered in Feed to Sprague Dawley (Hsd:Sprague Dawley SD) Rats
Subject: The National Toxicology Program (NTP) has conducted toxicology and carcinogenesis studies of perfluorooctanoic acid in rats to determine whether life-long exposure, beginning in utero, increased the cancer outcome as compared to rat only exposed to PFOA after weaning to adulthood.
Purpose (e.g., abstract): This meeting is to conduct external peer review of the draft NTP Technical Report (TR 598). Information for the meeting will be posted in mid-October. The meeting will be held remotely and available to the public via webcast.
